Beginners workshop for literary translators

Fifteen 90-minute lessons for up to 30 students, on the status, visibility and working conditions of literary translators; the Croatian language; Cultural Literacy; Traps in Literary Translation; Publishing; and Reference Books, etc.; the practical part is a 5-page (x1800 characters with spaces) translation of a literary text from a foreign language into Croatian; a session with a supervisor/mentor, and a session with a Croatian editor/proofreader
