Dual Degree Program in Translation and Interpreting ans International Communication/Bachelor’s Degree in Global Communication
Course details
Literary translation subjects are taken in the third and fourth years of the degree.
Objectives: To help the student understand the concept of literary translation from three essential perspectives: understanding the historical, cultural, and linguistic dimension; analysing translational difficulties; and, finally, developing global translation strategies.
Methodology: Students will be expected to carry out individual activities designed to help them understand the translation process and to participate in peer group activities to help them develop team learning skills.
Assessment: The programme of study for each literary translation subject outlines the proportionality of the translation-related activities for the final marks.
