Literary Genre and Translation I, 5 ECTS. OBJECTIVES: The objectives of this two-phase course with focus on German literary art are as follows: To be familiar with the special characteristics of literary art from the perspective of translation. To be able to approach and describe a literary text from different perspectives, using theoretical tools, and to apply the knowledge received to translation of German literary art.
