In 2011 the Ministry of Culture and Tourism decided to include translation workshops for other languages into its program as well. In cooperation with Bosphorus University and Hacettepe University, ÇEVBİR, Çeviri Derneği [an association for technical translators and interpreters], Literature Across Frontiers, and supported by international funds, the Ministry organised workshops on literary translating from Turkish into French, Russian, Arabic, Chinese and v.v (Autumn 2012). The workshops last a week and are on an advanced level.
